I am an international artist, musician, professor, and now a party DJ entertainer.
I really enjoyed introducing my young children to sound, music, and dancing.
Scarlett put on her first vinyl record on her own on her 2nd birthday 2007.
A proud dad indeed.

In the photo below my kids are choosing, playing and dancing to records all on their own

in 2007 Scarlett and then Phoenix inspired me to start the disco
and to share these experiences with the new generations ahead

I host parties to share this passion with children of alll ages.

I play loads of contemporary digital dancing music and stacks of retro vinyl,
and lots of party games to suit the age group.
I am the 'School Disco' DJ for Ashley School in Walton-on-Thames and many others
so I know how to handle the mayhem of energetic kids!

I am passionate about sharing the whole history of
dancing music. For all age groups I encourage dancing to music
from a range of decades [to suit the event]

I try things out, interact and improvise >
Current music is strong on the agenda as I know what gets them excited.

The children get to take part in choosing, handling and playing the vinyl,
which is a wonderful way to interact with music.
Dancing to all sorts of vibes, Playing with sound toys, singing,
playing musical pass the parcel & musical statues,
dance with scarves, blow up microphones & air guitars etc etc,
just have fun with sound together etc etc etc

I promise never to play the Birdy Song or Agadoo....
But old style Hokey Cokey is great fun of course and socially interactive.
I also bring disco lights, glitter, and bubbles which are a guaranteed hit.
Smoke machine too if venue allows it [please confirm].

Orla is DJ'ing musical statues on the record player, and is quite enjoying the control over her freinds actions!

A big thank you for DJ-ing at Anabel’s 5th birthday party on Sunday [2016].
There was such variety – I loved seeing how fascinated the kids were with the gramophone, and seeing all the parents waltzing with their kids was wonderful.
I also liked the way you calmed them down just before their tea – and the rest of the time they were jumping, dancing and wearing themselves out!

Anabel gave it a “100 out of 10” and her favourite part was when she was in control of stopping & starting the record player.
